Ben and I met in middle school, but didn't start dating until sophomore year of college. Ben's family grew up with my roommate's family so during college break we would oftentimes all be together. After we graduated from college, Ben and my roommate's family even all went to Jamaica together to celebrate. Two years after graduating college we decided to book a trip to Jamaica with my sister and her boyfriend. Covid put a wrench in our plans and it got postponed not once but twice. The last evening we were there Ben proposed; it was so magical. I turned around and realized that his sister and one of his closest friends flew in to be there! Our moms were on FaceTime, there was a photographer, and the moment was so beautiful. The easiest yes of my life and I cannot wait to continue to take on adventures together.
